One Body - One Voice
Advise local veterans of their rights and entitlements under state and federal law. The American Legion Post 518 monthly meeting is the first Monday of each month. The location is Rainbow Lane Family Fun Center, 850 HWY 42 W. Clayton, NC. Time: 7:00—8pm. What is a veteran? a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released there from under conditions other than dishonorable.
PROGRAM DETAILS
•We visit our local rest homes, retirement homes, and the VA hospital.
•We assist American Legion Post 518 in placing flags on veterans graves at Johnston Piney Grove Missionaty Baptist Church and Forest Hill Cemetary.
•We send welcome packets to troops across the globes.
